In your view from all roads leading in to Flagstaff. We arrived the first of March after fresh snow it was in its glory.

Driving south on Route 89 we had some magnificent views of the San Francisco Peaks, especially as they were still partially covered by snow. During the drive we had all sorts of weather, ranging from bright sunshine to a blizzard, so we saw the Peaks...More

these peaks dominate for a hundred miles. flagstaff would not be the same without them. just visited in feb but hiked them yrs ago. great hike but not in the winter.

If you enjoy alpine scenes, this is was you get when you visit Flagstaff. The mountain dominates the scenery. The air is crisp and clean and the sunshine feels great.

The mountains make several appearances from the Wupatki national monument. The were particularly interesting from The Citidal an abandoned hill top settlement.

This volcano I could see during it on the road of the grand canyon to flaggstaff. In the sunset I saw it blue and very impressive!

we drove by it and had to stop and took a million pictures. it was very pretty and the weather was great so we could spend some time there

Theses mountains are very impressive, nice to see the snow on the top. You can see them from very far. There is hundreds of trails for nice walk in nature, but bringwarm clothes, lunc and bottle of water and of course your camera.

near the flagstaff you can do every snowy activities have lift eating places youngs from the town works and they are helpful guys

flagstaff to south rim of grand canyon. about 1.5 hours and 80 miles. nice road but can have snow in the winter. great hike town to havasupai. take lots of water to drink.
