Great ride

My husband and I loved this bike trail. There is a lot to see along the way. The Cannonsburg village was interesting also other historical sites along the way.

This is a good place to walk, run, or go for a bike ride. There are restrooms and multiple picnic pavilions. Attatched to the restrooms is a pump to air up your bicycle tires and a water fountain. The Greenway is one of my favorite places to go on walks. Beautiful scenery and nice people along the way. We take our dogs for some new sites and room to roam. It is paved and shaded along the way. The bikers using the path are friendly and notify you of their coming from behind. A great place to walk... More

This trail is paved and level. Beautiful, peaceful walk. Walk can be short or several miles. This connects seamlessly with the Stones River Battlefield National Park and appears to be very safe. Best we have ever seen.

There are parks for kids to play there are bridges to cross and water that streams by. Great place. Every city should have a Greenway... More

This is probably my favorite greenway - although it is relatively short (around 8 miles) it has beautiful scenery and historical points of interest at each end. I recommend planning a whole day to really enjoy!

Thank you, tax dollars, for the Stones River Greenway!!!! Great for dog-walking, cycling, roller-blading, or jogging, the greenway is a haven for birds, a protected area for Tennessee flora, and a treasure for Rutherford County.
