We have been coming to Forest Park for over 30 years! It's beautiful, with gorgeous flowers, ponds, a zoo, huge fields to play on, and lots of sites for grilling. Good place for family picnics and parties. Nice photo opportunities throughout the park. Great place...More

A place to relax view the animals, it's a great family place to stop by and see. And at Christmas time a just is bright lights.

Brought the grandkids to Forest Park , they had a great time there lots of Open Fields to play in. Had a nice Zoo for the young kids to visit , they also had an ice cream stand where you can get sandwiches and hot...More

It was good the first year, and created much needed money for the city. But after that, its now just a tradition that we have to do. Recently, I don't think anything new has been added.

I LOVE taking a casual walk or fat burning jog! Friendly regulars. Great for dog walking. Baseball diamondseason for pick up games. Great for casual family outdoor gatherings.

Yes, and there are many parking areas where you can park and get out and walk.
Just moved to Windsor ct from Buffalo NY and have family visiting for Thanksgiving. Would this be a good place with a 2 and 4 year old and if so, what is going on during this time? Thank you so much.

The forest park is closed for the season. I recommend a great daily event starting tomorrow after dark- Bright Nights. It is a drive through the park after dark to see great light decorations. It is a good wintr attraction... More

Though I no longer live in the area and am not at all the best source, I would suggest the entrance at Longhill St. that fronts on Interstate 91 in Longmeadow. This is certainly convenient for the Ct. folks. The main... More
