The best museum for native Alaskan art and artifacts that I have visited. In the original building from late 1800s. We spent several hours reading and looking. Friendly, informative staff. Highly recommended!

Well worth a visit. Interesting history lesson including some help comprehending both the scale of Alaska and the subtle but important differences between the various indigenous groups.

So many artifacts from all aspects of life for the native people. We were there when there was an artist in residence speaking, which added an extra layer to our visit.
