We took an all day Wildlife Tour from Holland America, it started with the Sitka Sound Boat Tours. I remember the operator was with Allen Boat tours. We saw Seals basking on the rocks, Eagles Fishing, and got a Pod of Humpback Whales everywhere. Highly...More

Jim does a great job of getting you to the action. A 30 year Sitka resident and marine biologist point of view was right on. My three granddaughters loved the tour and my wife and I thought it was the best of our Alaska trip....More

Booking a tour with Jim Seeland was the best decision I made while in Sitka. He spent time with the four of us, asked questions, designed the tour around what we wanted to see. Because his boat is not large like the huge tour boats,...More

I appreciate all of the kind reviews visitors have taken the time to post regarding Sitka Sound Tours. It's a great business to be in: meeting new people, sharing beautiful Sitka Sound and spending time on the water. As of May 1, Sitka Sound Tours...More

Jim Seeland took us out for wildlife viewing, even though there were only two of us, both senior citizens with slight mobility problems. We saw many whales, sea otters and sea birds. We also got to see St. Lazaria island at low tide, and were...More

Is this a wheelchair accessible excursion, and how many passengers can be accommodated? We have a party of 13 which includes 3 children (12,11,6). The wheel chair is for 18 year old with CP who is able to be "walked" up ramp by parent if necessary.
