Beautiful amazing caverns. We decided it wasn’t worth the expense. We went on a Saturday in July and it was very busy. Too commercialized for us.

The caverns are beautiful - nature and science are so fascinating! The tour kept the attention of our 9 and 5 year olds, which is tough! The details shared by our tour guide explained things perfectly - explaining how the formations were made, how long...More

Wonderful day, very busy, go early. The cavern is beautiful and the tour is quite easy as the pathways are all paved, my daughter has trouble walking long distances but was able to do this easily. Some of the most interesting formations, all well presented....More

We loved the luray caverns which took about 80 mins to see. Despite the heavy volume of holiday visitors, there were breaks in the crowds to observe the formations. They do a great job lighting the formations which don't come out well in pictures unless...More

the caverns were beautiful. We enjoyed our tour but I have to say we felt kind of rushed through the tour, but they were super busy and it was later in the day. Maybe an earlier tour would not have been so busy.

No. You have to walk down 70 steps and back up 68. They are working on making it more accessible, but it’s not going to be for a while.

We were just there. No need to buy ahead. Wait time wasn’t long at all considering it was July 5th. 20min wait max.
