Sequoia National Park is missed by many, since it is smaller and not talked up. The giant Sequoia trees are amazing, Moro Rock is a climb that is worth the work, spectacular views. Many trails and hikes. A day trip to get a taste or...More

Had a few days between working in LA and SF, so drove up and explored Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon Natl Park. Wow. Amazing and beautiful. Tips would be to leave yourself more time than you think; the roads are very winding and slow...More

A beautiful park and loads to explore! Morro Rock view is spectacular. We stayed at Buckeye Tree Lodge only a 5 min drive to the main entrance of the park, would recommend staying here.

We had no expectations and purposefully visited before Yosemite. We were so disappointed! Some of the more mature Sequoias are majestic, but the park roads are insanely tight and curvy. I’ve driven mountainous terrain and passages, but I must admit, driving the roads at night...More

Awesomely beautiful and enormous sequoia trees accessible from easy hiking trails. Get up close vistas and Katherine sequoias, and see a large number of trees grouped together in hikeable groves.

Words and photos can not describe how massive these trees are in person. It should be something that is on everyone’s bucket list. It will take a full day to negotiate the narrow twisting roads through the park and allow adequate time to see the...More

Expect to see great trees, great mountain views. But also expect to drive winding roads, hairpin turns almost constantly. If get carsick, make sure you take a dramamine, if you are driving take a non-drowsy one!!1
