Ten Thousand Waves is inspired by the great Japanese mountain hot spring resorts. Ten minutes from downtown Santa Fe, but only minutes from the National Forest, there is nothing quite like this on the North American continent. Among piñons and junipers are beautiful outdoor hot tubs and spa suites, world-class bodywork & skin care, and the amazing izanami restaurant. For a lucky few, it is the closest lodging to the Santa Fe Ski area.

I'd wanted to go to Ten Thousand Waves every time we went to Santa Fe to ski but never had the opportunity. I am so glad I took the time to book an afternoon at this serene and special place. Lee - one of the master masseuses, is a miracle-worker. I've had spinal surgery and tend to have some significant... More

This spa and water experience is unparalleled. First, it is in the desert hills of Santa Fe. So, to be embraced by the water and the beautiful landscaping is pure heaven. It is a respite from the sand, the dry air and even overwhelming worries! The staff is courteous, friendly and professional, with an absolute absence of being overbearing. I... More

Nestled in the foothills of the Sange de Cristo mountains on the ski basin road. Soak in outdoor group or individual tubs. Get spa treatments, saunas too. Love looking at the stars. A huge treat to relax.

I had three treatments with Shawn and walked away refreshed and relaxed. He did a great job. I found all of the staff there to be helpful and accommodating. The location was peaceful and secluded. The only drawback was the parking situation, but that was a minor annoyance. Plan to spend a few hours there to truly enjoy the experience.

My husband and I enjoyed a couples massage and the private hot tub, cold tub and sauna. The atmosphere was absolutely beautiful. Everyone was extremely nice and it was very clean. Our massage therapist was good. Would not say the best but would go back because the setting and the ambience.

The buddha treat is AMAZING! My husband and I gifted our young adults the buddha treatment and spa expereince on christmas day last year. They still are talking about it. Family fun and bonding more presence rather than presents! Highly recommended!

I recently spent a romantic evening under the moonlight in a private tub for 85 minutes. It was heavenly. The private tub also had a cold plunge, sauna, sitting area and of course a hot tub of about 104F. This was my second stay in the last two months. The first time in the Shoji tub we stayed for 85... You know, there are times when one has to look in the mirror and say, "You are soooo worth pampering." Then after you affirm yourself, go to Ten Thousand Waves! Soak in the hot tub and then get a massage. While I waited for my massage, I went into the meditation building and enjoyed the calm atmosphere. The whole experience... More

The view of the night sky from a private tub is beautiful as you can see so many ✨ and even shooting stars and comets 💫 it is nestled on a hillside in Hyde park and with a bottle of wine and cheese it makes a nice little romantic evening. This was a gift from my husbands children.
