Amazing performance at the Lensic Performing Arts Center. Non- stop entertainment by these gentlemen was a perfect holiday evening. The Lensic is a must see when in Santa Fe.

I was in Santa Fe on vacation on my own for a few days before my son arrived to join me. On my first day in the city, I passed the Lesnic while walking from my hotel to the Plaza. I was looking for something to do in the evenings besides sit in my room or a bar. I booked... More

The Lensic is a "must see" for any visit to Santa Fe. Built in 1931, it was in social center of the city. It underwent a major renovation around 2000 and it is a jewel to enjoy. They offer plays, classical music, films, concerts - we recently saw Joan Baez there - and lots of community and educational events. It... More

This spectacular showcase is designed in moorish style Spanish architecture and yet is cozy - not warm, since they always run the a/c on high! But the lensic offers great entertainment all year long. This past Sunday we enjoyed a special treat with the "friends of the lensic" which included gratis food and beverages at the open bars, and then... More

Beautiful inside but the seats were a little uncomfortable. Acoustics were great and I don't think there is a bad view in the house.

It does not matter what is playing here - GO. The theater itself is beautiful and the seating and acoustics are as good as could be found anywhere. It was a movie theater and movies are still on its weekly agenda.

My wife and I just saw the Shanghai Acrobats at the Lensic in Santa Fe. Their performance was first rate. They followed a story line with their acrobatics, followed by four acts and a finale. They are in top shape, and pulled off some very difficult gymnastics. The time and money is well worth seeing these top notch athletic performers.

We had high expectations as Savion Glover has a great reputation. But we found the show a little too long and the straight tapping for the whole first segment a bit daunting. It was a show for tap aficionados but left the rest of us wishing for more enterainment with actual songs and tap routines. The interval of DeJohnettes's original... More

We go often to the Lensic-- MetHD, High School for the Arts, ProMusica, special events. It is a very special place in Santa Fe. It was renovated by the Zeckendorfs about 15 years ago and it has very good sound and a large stage with a screen. The interior is stunning and the seats are comfortable. We like it very... More

We attended the joint performance of Ailyn Pérez and Greg Mathewman, the latter just in from London. Ms. Pérez beautifully filled the house with her voice, loud and soft, and even with humming somehow projected to the audience. Her wizard of an accompanist was her peer in this marvelous show with one intermission, and the Theater gave her a wonderful... More
