We were very disappointed here. Not a single O'Keefe to be seen here, and two galleries were closed. Of the paintings we saw, most were modern abstract works that held little interest. A solid white canvas is not my idea of art. Not worth the...More

The building of the museum is very beautiful and mirrors the traditional architecture of the region. However, the art collection itself is very small.

Went on a Thursday afternoon. Price is normally $12, but for military it's free. Great museum, with great artwork. Can take a hour to 2 to walk through. Best part is, there's no crowds.

The most impressive thing about the New Mexico Museum of Art is the building itself. The art collection has a few wonderful pieces of southwestern art. We found the installation of modern art to be unfulfilling.

The museum is small but well-curated. You won't need more than 2 hours max. I'd recommend a docent tour!

After hearing and reading about this Museum I had high expectations. It was ok, but I was disappointed in the quantity of art on display.

What a fun museum! The building itself is art. Look up at the ceilings and detail, gorgeous! My favorite exhibit was Edie Tsong, the line drawings with the children. Inspiring. I loved that they had little stops where you could read more about the art,...More

The museum was built in the Pueblo style and looks really nice and romantic - outside and inside. The art collections offer a good idea about the NM art. Do not miss the St. Francis auditorium, the inner yard and the sculpture garden, all of...More
