On our Culture Pass and VERY enjoyable! We did not have long to wait for a docent tour and listened to her every word. It WAS the "way to go" for us. I was amazed at HOW many works of art i could have enjoyed on my walls at home. The building and the garden piqued our interest also.

The most impressive thing about the New Mexico Museum of Art is the building itself. The art collection has a few wonderful pieces of southwestern art. We found the installation of modern art to be unfulfilling.

The museum is small but well-curated. You won't need more than 2 hours max. I'd recommend a docent tour!

After hearing and reading about this Museum I had high expectations. It was ok, but I was disappointed in the quantity of art on display.

What a fun museum! The building itself is art. Look up at the ceilings and detail, gorgeous! My favorite exhibit was Edie Tsong, the line drawings with the children. Inspiring. I loved that they had little stops where you could read more about the art, and even one activity to do, my daughter loved that. Adults are $12 and kids... More

The museum was built in the Pueblo style and looks really nice and romantic - outside and inside. The art collections offer a good idea about the NM art. Do not miss the St. Francis auditorium, the inner yard and the sculpture garden, all of them very attractive and offering good moments of relaxation. If you leave the museum by... More

We have been very disapointed by our visit. Many rooms were not open for visitors. They still charge you $12 to see only few paintings. Don't waist your time and better visit some private galleries.

A very well laid out art display of local art from local artist. Worth the time to visit and you will not be disappointed

I stopped here at the end of a 12-day Santa Fe and Taos vacation. I had already spent dozens of hours in art galleries and museums on the trip, and this museum served as a summary of all I had seen. I enjoyed all the galleries. It was interesting to note that this was built as a museum 100 years... More
