Amazing Historical Significance! A must on your visit! Our only disappointment was we believed the City should maintain it better! An honor to walk on the grounds!

This is at the northern edge of downtown S.Fe. There is little here to see, but a few plaques convey the hills' history, and fort significance. It is a nice "hike uphill from the Plaza, and affords good views across the town.

When we were there, there was no one around that questioned you being there. I am sure if you keep your dog on a leash and pick up after him or her there would be no problem.

There is no charge. You can take a car up to the top of the hill from the back or you can walk up the path from Paseo de Peralta from the front.
