We parked at a nearby park and climbed the pathway up to the top at the recommendation of the tour we'd taken earlier in the day. The path includes about 20 plaques that give a brief history of Santa Fe. Up at the top are awesome views of Santa Fe. Mind you, above the cross was where a Fort once... More

Careful planning by many must have gone into this walk and overlook. We drove to the top on our first visit for an incredible view of the city and the sunset. A few days later we walked the paved path/steps and loved it even more. Having had many exposures in that week to the somewhat complicated history of New Mexico,... More

Stayed at a nearby hotel and asked the valet where the place to go to view the sunset and he suggested this location. It is a short hike to the top and along the way there are plaques placed so you can read about the history. Unfortunately, the sunset was subpar that evening that i chose, but it is a... More

Incredible view overlooking the city. Must go for the sunset! There is a parking lot and it's very short walk. It's part of Ft. Marcy. Don't forget your camera!

This was a nice, twisty stroll to the top of the hill, and the morning we went it was a beautiful day and you could see for miles. A good place to reflect, but also get a few good pictures!

From the top of the hill you can have a nice view of Santa Fe and surrounding mountains. There is also a lot of information displayed about the fort built by the American troups on this hill.
