It's art, it's art galleries, restaurants and more. Grab your wallet though it's not cheap. Especially if you're an art connoisseur, but it's worth the drive thru or walk thru if you prefer. Christmas time is the best with all the farolito's on the walkways and rooftops. "A luminaria or farolito is a small paper lantern (commonly a candle set... More

If you're an art fan then this is the place for you to see a lot of it in one amazing area. Canyon Road is full of art galleries and studios of all description (paintings, sculptures, etc.). If I could have, I would have bought way too much art. We spent most of the day there and chatted to artists... More

I had to break this down into two days . I walked one side one day and the other side the next day. One side doesn't have good amount of sidewalk so make sure you wear comfy shoes. Hard to find any public restrooms. Actually I don't remember seeing any.

Very easy walk, about 4-5 blocks, with business on each side. Very eclectic range of artists creations - some exquisite glass work, sculptures and other art. Definitely not your usual 'tourist' souvenirs - and they will ship to your home!!

A must see when visiting this warm and inviting city with a rich heritage . Many artists work and exhibit in this area and portrait the various weather and harshness of the desert of New Mexico through the many and varied artist presentations and displays. You can easily be absorbed in the many exhibits as you stroll up and down... More

We are early birds and tend to be out on the road by 8, we wandered over that way and got to window shop but most of the galleries were not open. The walk was still enjoyable. They could use more take out coffee shops/juice bars on the strip. We also found the surrounding streets hard to manage with a... More

Seemed to go on and on- we spent hours visiting the various galleries and taking-in the various art forms- from sculpture to pop. If we had more time we would have gone back for another day of art. Highly recommended.

We spent a great afternoon shopping on Canyon Road. The variety of galleries and the friendly, knowledgeable staff at most galleries made this a pleasurable experience. Even in a gallery with expensive Native American art, the staff was eager to educate us, knowing the art was outside our price range. We did find galleries that sold art in all price... More

Lovely way to spend the afternoon. Take an uber to the top of the hill and wander back down. Stunning sculptures as well as more traditional paintings and other works. The kinetic sculptures are the best. Pricey stuff but if you can't afford it, think of the afternoon as a free museum tour....
