Really great fun walking in and out of galleries. Even if not purchasing, gallery staff friendly and chatty. Plenty of free parking. Variety of genres, from contemporary to fine art

We parked on one end of the road and walked to the other end, stopping in most shops and galleries. It was really nice getting to see all of the art. Many of the artists were there, some working.
We spent about 90 minutes on Canyon Road with my 6,9, and 12 year old. We were fortunate. The first two galleries we went in first were incredible. Very friendly and open and kind. The artwork, sculpture and gardens were spectacular. The people in the...More

If you are visiting SF do not miss the chance to browse the galleries. The streets are lined with shops selling artwork, bronzes, glassware, and moveable art. Well worth an afternoon’s stroll!

This is a good option for walking and getting a taste of the art in Santa Fe. About one mile long with numerous galleries and outside art. Some of the smaller streets have several galleries. Very enjoyable walk if the weather is nice.
If you enjoy art, this walk is fantastic. And don't forget the side streets which have many galleries, some with less expensive art.
