So much history and art and shopping..so little time! The Natives selling their hand-made goods, the Palace of the Governors, and the New Mexico Historic Museum are a must-see!

While you are in Santa Fe most people go to the Plaza at various times for a lot of different reasons you may want to go into the 5 and Dime and purchase a local food favorite called a Chili Frito Pie you will need extra napkins but it's worth it you can also see the Native New Mexicans selling... True I only visit it every several years but i love going there. The shops with tasty food and all the beautiful jewellery for sale. Bring lots of cash!

We are very early morning travellers and like to be out and about for our coffee. The city keeps this square very clean. The flowers are always colorful, and there's just a general mood that invites you to sit for awhile and people-watch or grab an ice cream cone in one of the nearby shops and relax.

Lots of interesting things to do and see around the square. If you happen to see a fajita street cart grab one and you won't be disappointed, best $5 I spent in Santa Fe.

Whoever is in charge of lighting the trees in the plaza for Christmas needs to go back to lighting school. It's a mess. Looks like a new homeowners first Christmas. Is is not worthy of a great art town like Santa Fe. Otherwise, the plaza is a nice spot but someone had to say something about the Christmas lights.

All trails lead to the Santa Fe Plaza. For history buffs, this is a must see. From ghost tours, to art history experiences, to culinary delights, the plaza has it all. Even though it is often filled with tourists, you can't help but visualize all the history that has past through this space through the past centuries.Sign up for the... More

Nice little town square. We were there off season but still a decent amount of activity. Plenty of shopping from the local artists and craftsman to more expensive shops and galleries. Several other gift shops selling t shirts and souvenirs. A few decent restaurants in the square too. Nice for a day to walk around but not much more than... More

I have been to The Plaza several times throughout the years. It's always a fun place to walk around with friends and family. The Plaza is a great afternoon or evening activity to see art, shop, and eat. During December and January the Christmas lights are beautiful! The Plaza is always a nice spot to hangout. I usually park in... More
