OK it's aimed at tourists, but that is what we were, lots of shops, lots of goodies mixed in with the tat,but well worth the visit, then have a break at the chocolate shop, it's brill.

Certainly worth a visit. It is mostly little Knick Knack shops and fun browsing. Does have the Mi Tierra Bakery which is good sweets. Went during the day so cannot say what is involved in the nightlife.

Shopping at Market Square is like crossing the border into Mexico. The Market is filled with beautiful items found south of the border. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Most prices are very reasonable, too.

It is touristy but worth a visit. The bakery is good, their hot chocolate is one of the best I have had. A lot of stores with knick knacks and souvenir's but also some other stores with unique finds.

I went around the market early one Sunday afternoon. Crowded, noisy, and full of things I don't need. However, it is still fun to check things out. I would not put this high on a to-see list when visiting SA, but it can be fun.

fun experience! The booths are all fun to go through...indoor as well as outdoor. The band plays lively music as you either dine or walk. So much to see and experience. Walkable from downtown or take one of the inexpensive busses.

A very unique vibe for eating and shopping. The Market Place is definitely a place to mark on your To Do List!

I agree with a spending cap. I would say for food AND a souvenir-$50. I also would empower them with the phrase "not yet". There are so many high pressure sales going on in this market. Let them know that they are the one in... More

I walked there with a foreign visitor and it was daylight. There were many homeless people along the route and I did not feel overly unsafe but I did not feel super safe either as we walked to and from. I would not walk... More
