This church is beautiful inside and attend a mass if possible to really benefit from the serenity. The church is convenient to visit from the River Walk or your trip to the Alamo.

I was on my way back to my hotel after visiting the River Walk when I saw the church was open and decided to stop in. Since it was hot outside, it was nice and cool inside.

Great church. Just stopped in for a few minutes. There is a gift shop that has lots to choose from. They have daily and weekend masses.

Located just beyond the Riverwalk, it's worth popping in to see the beautiful stained glass windows and ornate altars donated by local German families over a century ago.

This is a dumb question. I'm not Catholic and has only been to a Catholic church once in my life (I'm Christian). My family and I want to visit and just pray there. Can we do that? I see from here that it's open until 4pm, but I'm not sure if that's for other activities going on. Feel free to tell me anything else I should know.

hanks Jeff. I have a church convention to attend July 1-11 in the convention centre in San Antonio and am looking for somewhere safe, cheap and clean. I see some hostels advertised in the area but not sure. Any suggestions?
