Played it in March and in October which are great Months to play cause it's not too hot! A very challenging course with lots of Beauty of San Antonio surrounding it! Cedar Creek and Brakenridge also nice courses

Very Challenging 18 holes We played in early August and it was extremely hot so be prepared wear the coolest attire you can and take plenty of water (Club house has plenty )

Played Silver Horn and Quarry also. This course was the most interesting and challenging, if played from the correct tee box. Lots of doglegs and elevation changes. Course was in great condition. Only drawback was the crowds. Not sure if Monday is just a busy day for them or ? But we played 18 holes in almost 7 hours. Had... More

A great, classic, historical, golf course located on the South side of San Antonio. The course is always in great shape. Greens are fast and smooth and fairways are tight. Only in South Texas can you play on a PGA Championship course for under $50. Pecan Valley hosted the 1968 PGA Championship (Arnold Palmer lost on the 18th hole) and it is easy to stand on the tee box and look down a pecan tree lined fairway and imagine the scene.
