My brother graduated from here & we went with the family to see him. Very clean place. It has a bowling alley, a small movie theater, a small shopping square, & a bigger shopping square. It has vintage airplanes to take pictures with. Overall, the family was very very happy with the place. #ProudAirForceFamily

The graduation was very well organized. There is two days of activities. Thursday is Airman's run followed by the Coin ceremony. Friday is the Graduation Pass and review. I recommend trying to book a room on base. This is allowed providing there is room. Your newly graduated airman or airwoman only have base liberty on Thursday and Sunday.

Finally got onto the base thanks to the sponcership of my son who is a medically retired marine and works for the corps of engineers. The processing to get onto the base was actually very fast and easy. The airmen were friendly and once on the base. We had total access to drive anywhere we wanted. Saw the trainees marching... BMT graduation is a unique experience that even those without a graduate should consider viewing the parade on a Friday morning. The parade field, static aircraft displays, and even just the flags flying help remind us of those who have and do serve our nation. There is also a Security Force Academy museum which was hard fought to keep and... More

We were there for my nephew's graduation from BMT. Very nice base, the grounds are beautiful. There are plenty of options for food, a bowling alley and a theatre (we didn't go in either) if you want to hang out on the base.

This base is very impressive. Interesting, and lots of photo opportunities with old jets. Bowling Ally, good places to eat..

I come here frequently for work. It always amazes me how many recruits pass through here (or do I say out of here) each week! Graduation every Thursday! Neat to see all the recruits. I tip my hat to each of them with a heart felt "Thank-you" for joining and for your future service!

We visited lackland for our daughter graduation from the airforce. What a beautiful place. We enjoyed visiting, eating and shopping there. We really appreciate the support offered to parents and families. We were able to survive because of it. Love my new Air Force family!

Was well pleases at the service we received at each location we visited. The Security forces at the gate are doing a great job, as a veteran it blessed me to see the professionalism the young men and women displayed. We ate on base 3 times, and the food was great at all places. The employees at each restaurant was... More
