This is a wonderful amphitheater on the San Antonio Riverwalk that is perfectly situated for a rest in the beautiful weather while you often watch local entertainment and river barges float by. So much fun for the whole family!

I took out of state visitors to see the Fiesta Noche del Rio show at The Arneson River Theater to give them a taste of San Antonio culture. My guests really enjoyed it. It was a fast paced show that was very entertaining highlighting various traditional dances and mariachi music. Be warned...if you sit in the first few rows you... More

This would a very neat place to watch a small show. With the seating on one side of the canal and the stage on the other, it had a uniquely beautiful setting for entertainment.

The Arneson River Theater is on the Riverwalk at a turn in the river. There is a stage on one side and seating on the other side. It is built in stone and fits into the scenery beautifully. There are occasional presentations by various groups, and during the summer on weekends presentations with proceeds going to children's charities. We were... More

After a half day of meetings, I walked to the theatre to run the steps. It is a beautiful spot in the La Vollita district on the Riverwalk. After 10 mins of waking myself up, I sat a bit and just enjoyed the view. Quaint bridge, boats passing, beautiful architecture and a waterfall all within view

What a beautiful setting for outdoor entertainment. I may have to return to San Antonio to see a performance since we didn't have the opportunity during our visit.

This theater is integrated beautifully into the Riverwalk. The stage is on one side, while the stepped amphitheater seating is on the other. There were no shows ongoing during our visit, but the site was wonderful to explore.

Does anyone remember the pictures? This is where they film Miss Congeniality. Nice little place along the river to watch the show if you get the chance. If not you can at least take a boat cruise past it or go sit and relax watching boats go by.

I'm sure seeing a live show here would be amazing! It was very neat just visiting during the day, while on a walk down the river walk. Truly a gem among the throngs of tourist spots in downtown San Antonio!

This personifies old San Antonio with not simply shows and singing but history and hours upon hours along the river walk.
