Great Conference Site

Attended a photography conference at this site. Lots of room to move and everyone was friendly if you needed directions to a location.

Big, bright, clean, does it's work well. Close to Riverwalk, large hotels such as Marriot, Hyatt and Riverwalk Center. City buses, up to the door .

This place looks beautiful with the new expansion. The staff here is really nice. I work in the convention center a couple times a year and they have refurbed what was already nice convention center. One of the best convention centers I have worked in for the last 25+ years.

It is important to view many of the shops as prices seem to vary. Brightly colored dresses, servingware, tiles, garden decor present. Purchases for all age ranges. A true feeling of Mexico.

Though parking is still a challenge, the newly renovated facility is very attractive. It will be nice when the construction on that block is done.

This is a theater located inside the convention center. There is no listing for the theater as its part of the convention center. Very poor signage!! Could not find it from the streets. With hotels and other things around, you would imagine you could find this place, but it was impossible. One person told us look for the sign to... More

Beautiful building housing a truly great convention center right in the heart of San Antonio River Walk. It functions very well, the staff working programs are very professional. AND as I mentioned, everything is a short walk away

However the hall is HUGE and walking it is a form of exercise. They could use more signs and directions explaining the place. You can wander it for a good 30 minutes to find what you need. Lots of restaurants and cafes as well.

Spent five days at the Gonzalez center for a convention. Roomy, great entry area, lots of available rooms for sessions. The only knock is the maps are hard to orient to. Was difficult to figure out how to get to one end of the center.

This place is huge, it seems and feels more like an airport than a convention center. It's very easy to get lost and be on the complete opposite side of where you really need to be. But what a great, giant structure.
