Really well restored home of one of Texas' heroes. He was very important in the evolution of Texas as it is today. The audio presentations are extremely well done and informative. Highly recommend- ideal to visit during a walking tour of San Antonio.

This attraction was undergoing renovations, and a full tour was not available. But staff still took time to tell us about the history of the family and showed us a bit of the museum. No charge... but they did encourage us to come back when...More

I love home museums...sites that show the history of a family set in the context of the greater historical perspective. And this site did a wonderful job of that. I am not sure why it is not higher on the list! Definitely should be visited....More

We enjoyed learning about Jose Antonio Navarro. My children learn about him in school so it was really exciting to actually be in his house and learn more about this great Texas Hero!!!
