Coming from NYC Mecca of museums I wasn't expecting too much but I was blown away at this museum. The Egyptian Greek and Roman collections are especially outstanding. Tuesday's free and open late

We arrived by RiverTaxi and enjoyed back to back tours of Rodin and Corrita Kent. Our guide, Judy, is superb. The space is modern with wonderful audio-visual aides. An added bonus is the terrific restaurant which is fairly priced and has a French flair.

This is a great museum for Texas. Everyone in San Antonio should visit the museum of art, but most have never even heard of it. Tuesdays are free, and any other day is reasonable. I've taken my teenagers several times and they always enjoy it.

This museum was one of the best I have been too for small artifacts. Amazing and beautiful finds from all over the world. I spent 3 hours wondering around. I also had lunch at the pop up restaurant Sketch which was delicious.
