Well worth a visit. This museum has a wide selection of art with a heavy concentration in Asian and Latin American Art. The museum is well-laid out with good signage. There are brochures available for both adults and children highlighting the most popular items in the collection. This museum has frequent special exhibits that are well-curated and usually supplemented with... More

I am by no means an artsy person nor a museum person. However, we did the double decker tour and decided to get off at the museum to pass some time away on a hot day. I have to admit, I loved it.

We spent a morning at the museum due to rainy weather. I was very impressed with the various galleries. I enjoyed listening to the docents giving small children tours and how they brought the museum pieces to their understanding level. The admission price was very reasonable for the collection they have. We walked to the museum from our hotel along... More

I thought the museum was well worth the visit. Nothing against San Antonio Museum, because all museums are like this. After a while it gets to be information overload. We have a famous Dinosaur Museum here in Alberta where they have discovered lots of dinosaur bones and so that's why there is a huge exhibit. It takes all day to... More

This is a small museum, but it is well curated with a nice collection of Ancient Art as well as Asian Arts. The Covarrubias exhibit was a delight.

a simply WONDERFUL museum - and it's FREE on some evenings. The collection will surprise you! Don't miss the Museum Extension of the River Walk - a lovey quiet walk through many art installations - the perfect extension of your museum experience.

I feel it was a bit small for an art museum but they do have a wonderful permanent collection, and occasionally have a must see exhibit travel through. I most recently saw a Jamie Wyeth exhibit a few months ago.

This is one of the first art museums I have been to, so I am not an expert. My daughter really enjoyed the visit and there is a lot to see here.

This was the museum we chose to reach via the Museum Reach of the Riverwalk. It was my first time to stroll this part of the river. What a wonderful experience! I love this museum and have visited over and over and over again. I love their collection and really enjoy the creative ways they've chosen to display it. This... More
