Good view of San Antonio from the top (or revolving restaurant). Plenty of visitors but inexperienced personnel in ticket office make process more difficult and less enjoyable. Easy location to find, next to the river walk and shopping center.

We had a tip from a local, there is a fee to go up the tower to the viewing platform ($12 I think), but if you go to the restaurant its free, also there is a fine dining restaurant where you may need a reservations and a lounge bar where you do not. So we went to the lounge bar,... More

Very nice all around view of the area from the top. I am afraid of heights and was braves to go to the top. So having done that I may now take different risks. This does cost to go to the top. Nice food at cafe.

Food is goo and pricey but well worth the price for the atmosphere and view. The wait staff was amazing.

We had seen the tower in the skyline and wanted to visit. We got off the city sightseeing bus to take a few photos as we thought we would be too late to go inside. We were wrong, the tower is open Saturday until 11pm. Queuing took about 30 minutes for tickets and then a short wait for the outside... More

The Tower of the Americas is a 750 foot observation tower located in the district on the southeastern portion of Downtown San Antonio, Texas. Very nice revolving restaurant , this is one of the tallest observation towers in the United States ! Must see !

I had traveled to San Antonio on business during St. Patricks Day, and was trying to get as much sights in as I could... well the Tower of the Americas is a great place to do it. A small walk from the Riverwalk, and you go up and can see the whole skyline from it! Even if you want, you... More

The rotating platform that you sit on is very cool, and there is often something interesting to look at. It took 1 hour to get out food, however is was on Easter Sunday. I would reccomend it becayse of the aesthetic, but be ready for a long wait.

Thank Derek C
