Yes, you should stop on your way along the Mission Trail, but be aware that you cannot enter the Mission due to vandalism. There is a small information area with some pictures, and the walk around the perimeter of the grounds gives more insight to...More

We stopped and took a picture, then left. Many people were walking around this site. However, we personally did not find it interesting.

So far this is my least favorite of the three of four missions I have seen so far. The buildings were all close despite having an active church. The grounds re not very big and offer little. There are the remains of walls in some...More

Don't miss this free attraction just outside town. Each mission is unique and has it's own personality. It is fascinating to see the history of South Texas come alive. I highly recommend this attraction! Best time to go is during the cooler months. Yesterday was...More

Best to take a guided tour of the missions. Each is different and worth a visit. The grounds of each are lovely and the interiors are each as varied as the exteriors. It would be nice to attend a mass in these mission churches.

This mission was a little disappointing because the church was all locked up and when we found someone from the Park Service he said it is always locked. There is a museum you can walk through and they have some brochures you can take to...More

There is a nice trail to walk that is fairly short. Had a visitor center with exhibits and a nice path to walk around wall perimeter. Great signs explaining history and other details. Took the bus which was really inexpensive.
