The Paseo del Rio is San Antonio's favorite attraction. You can shop, dine, lounge in a cafe, or simply stroll along and let the strumming mariachi soothe your spirit.

We went to the Riverwalk at night so we could enjoy all the Christmas lights which were beautiful. If you have never been to the Riverwalk during the Christmas season I highly suggest that you go.

We were fortunate enough to experience the holiday displays. The lights help create a fun and intimate atmosphere. The day time is great for leisurely strolls, but in the evening this place is jam-packed.

This is really a small canal, not a river, and it is lined with beautiful buildings, bridges and walls. There are tons of restaurants and bars along the pathway. The lighting at night when we visited in early December was spectacular. Well worth spending 2-3...More

It is legal to carry your firearm concealed in both city parks and buses. It is also legal to carry in the convention center as long as there is no 30.06 sign posted. As for the Riverwalk and the Alamo, it is also fine to... More
