The Paseo del Rio is San Antonio's favorite attraction. You can shop, dine, lounge in a cafe, or simply stroll along and let the strumming mariachi soothe your spirit.

We recently went to San Antonio and loved walking along the river. They have spent a lot of money making it nice and keeping it up. We loved seeing the wild life and plants along the river. A great experience.

The River Walk is charming. It has many great restaurants and shops. A cooler place to be on a hot summer day.

Been going down here since I was a child and the place hasn’t changed. It has definitely stayed to its roots nice sidewalks, shops, and Good eateries.

Any trip to San Antonio must include the River walk. It runs through the downtown area and is filled with shops, restaurants and even a movie theater on the one end. A very beautiful walk to take when visiting San Antonio.

Touristy. There’s a mall. Mediocre restaurants mostly. Ok, you can eat on that water/river thing. I’d avoid it like the plague

Of coarse it's definitely a tourist trap, but was fun to see once. We took the riverboat ride and ate along the riverwalk. I liked the atmosphere and everyone was friendly. Wish we had had more time to spend exploring. I think it's better to...More

I saw some rental scooters while we were there, so they must exist. Google that and you should be able to find the company.

January can be kind of cold to people from warm areas but my be nice to others from a cold area. I'd suggest checking weather but for the most part it is very enjoyable all yr round.
