The Paseo del Rio is San Antonio's favorite attraction. You can shop, dine, lounge in a cafe, or simply stroll along and let the strumming mariachi soothe your spirit.

I didn't know what to expect. But on a warm sunny day, with not too many people, I really enjoyed the ambience of the Riverwalk. The cafes, the shops and the canals reminded me of Amsterdam a little. Taking the boat tour is good as...More

We walked at night and again in the day. It is a fun and vibrant place to be. Can be a little busy at night but that added to the vibe. A must visit attraction when in San Antonio.

What a great area to walk around. The history and scenery and people in this area are so great. Beautiful location to take a stroll, have a bite to eat and a drink, relax and enjoy.

Had dinner at Joe's Crab Shack featuring fabulous crab dishes and buckets right on River Walk. Then had a romantic walk there with my GF with lights all over. No mosquitoes Many boats ferrying tourist sailed by, making it looking like Venice water taxi.

This is a MUST if you are frequenting the area. The Alamo is right next to this so you can do both @ same time. It is ALOT of walking, and stairs, so with that said if you have any kind of mobility issues beware....More
