The Paseo del Rio is San Antonio's favorite attraction. You can shop, dine, lounge in a cafe, or simply stroll along and let the strumming mariachi soothe your spirit.

The riverwalk is bordered by flowers everywhere and beautiful mosaics dot the walls and bridges. I loved every foot of it but on the weekend it gets crowded and loud.

Mid september evening, perfect temperature, nice breeze, beautiful scenery, active night life. Water taxi never showed up though, it would have been nice to have since we were walking from the northern end of the river walk with two children and no stroller.

A must see, I walked and jogged daily enjoying the intricate details of the River Walk. The greenery, flowing water, restaurants, and the visitors were amazing.

Our son had 2 days town liberty. We spent a lot of it on the River Walk. Plenty of restaurants, bars & small shops. Great atmosphere. Definitely a must see.

The weather can vary. It can be in the 60s-70s or even up to the 80s and 90s around Thanksgiving. I would pack for warm weather but bring a sweater or jacket in case it gets cooler. Especially at night once the sun goes down.
