A great time with our 3 kids. Great restaurants and a great hotel at the Homestead Suites by Hilton on the Riverwalk (be sure to ask for AAA discount). Such a ice view at day or night. Sushi restaurant next door, Sushi Zushi, was excellent.

The River Walk is a must- see if you are in San Antonio. However, it isn't quite upscale if that is what you are use to - it's more of a party place, in my opinion. If you don't like Mexican food, you may be out of luck. Other than that, it's nice to sit by the river, enjoy the... More

The river walk is a great thing to do to get some walking in in downtown san antonio. Most of the businesses along the way are touristy but that is to be expected

Took a nice, leisurely stroll down the River Walk before an early evening meal. We even took the boat ride which was kind of nice and relaxing. San Antonio has so much to offer.

We had a lot of fun walking up and down the river to see all the shops. We took a ride on the cruise boat, too. What a nice area. Great setup. The hardest part was trying to find the ;parking garage we parked in. It took us a long time to find it.

This is my favourite place in Taxes. The site is close to cultural hub, it has best restaurants and pubs. This provides a choice from idle stay in a hotel at the river to a walk next to it. A sort of Tex Mex with a pinch of Europe in it. :3

Wonderful place to explore by foot or by boat. Loved it! Lots of places to eat and shop or just get a drink. Don't miss it if your in San Antonio. I felt very safe. Saw it around dusk so pretty with the lights!

Our hotel was on the Riverwalk so we spent a lot of time there. Lively or peaceful dependent on the time of day and area you were in. Great food and pretty surroundings.

This isn't the first time we've been on the riverwalk and will go back again. There are literally 50+ places to eat along the riverwalk and all of the ones we've gone to were good. We took the riverboat cruise and had a great (funny) tour guide who either knew everything about the structures and buildings along the route or... More
