I took the water taxis from Logan Airport to Long Wharf to catch the Salem Ferry. Got my ticket on line for 530pm but arrived early. Was allowed to take ferry early. Cabin enclosed and serves drinks and snacks. Staff friendly and helpful. Very quick 45 minutes to Salem.

It was a very bouncy, fun and fast trip to and from Salem. If you are prone to seasickness you may want to drive.

I took the ferry from Harlem to Boston. I had my touring bicycle with me and it was no problem at all. It did not even cost me additional fees to take my bike on board. What made this ferry ride different was the knowledgeable gentleman that pointed out historical buildings and sites. The 30 minute ride was very interesting... More

We took the Salem Ferry from Salem down into Boston on a beautiful summer day, what a nice trip, take as long as you want to shop and explore Boston and then hop back on the Ferry and head back to Salem to enjoy dinner before heading home.

The ferry was easy to find. It was safe, on time, and had friendly and professional staff. The boat was clean and comfortable.

We arrived Salem by train, which was fast and efficient, but decided to take the ferry back. It was a beautiful day, and the commentary was interesting as we both left and arrived the ports. We were catching a cruise ship, and simply hailed a cab when we arrived in Boston. It's a longer trip back this way and a... More

This is a great way to visit Boston from the North Shore - A great way to advoid the hassle of driving into Boston and an added bonus a boat trip along the North Shore to Boston.

Great way to travel back to Boston Long Wharf. Takes 50 minutes from Salem to Boston, has a snack bar and enclosed deck.

Nice trip from Boston to Salem and back. They have food & drinks on board if you wish. We were met by a trolley in Salem that takes you to the heart of downtown. Good views of the coast, Salem and Boston as you approach to dock. A little more costly than the train but very enjoyable.

Decided to try the Ferry from Salem to Boston. While there is some parking at the ferry station, it is limited. We parked at the MBTA lot and took a taxi - $5 plus tip. There is a charge for the ferry and there is a discount for roundtrip. The passage over took about 50 minutes. It was a comfortable... More
