Tour was informative and the gardens were beautiful. It is also worthwhile to take a few moments to tour Hawthorne's childhood home on the property as well.

Very interesting tour. $14 admission fee but worth it. The tour was about a half an hour. The property and household items are beautiful. The gift shop has some pretty items. Highly recommend.

For anyone who has read Nathaniel Hawthorne, this is definitely a must see. Terri was our tour guide and she was very knowledgeable and made the tour interesting. Take the time and go tour this house and it's grounds!!

The tour guide was well informed on the history, not only what was included in the tour itself but actually the town history as well. Good value money vs quality of the location and time spent for the tour.

My husband and I visited Salem on our honeymoon. We enjoyed the guided tour of the House (trust yourself, and climb the chimney stairway, it's not that far!). The grounds were beautiful in early May!

enter House of Seven Gables to search and take it from there. Not sure why, but I cannot post the website on TA. Check it out! They have several different kinds of tours. My favorite is the Legend of the Hanging Judge... More
