Tour was informative and the gardens were beautiful. It is also worthwhile to take a few moments to tour Hawthorne's childhood home on the property as well.

For anyone who has read Nathaniel Hawthorne, this is definitely a must see. Terri was our tour guide and she was very knowledgeable and made the tour interesting. Take the time and go tour this house and it's grounds!!

My husband and I visited Salem on our honeymoon. We enjoyed the guided tour of the House (trust yourself, and climb the chimney stairway, it's not that far!). The grounds were beautiful in early May!
