I was expecting to spend 30 minutes or less at this gallery, can't be done. There is so much to be experienced here. Plan at least an hour here. So much to absorb, so much to enjoy! I hope you do enjoy as much as I did.

Medicine Man is a giant in the Indian Arts industry. Loaded with high powered Native American Indian jewelry, pottery, rugs, basketry and more . . . famous western artists and a huge selection of fine pottery by world famous San Ildefonso potter, Maria Martinez and family. Pick up a pristine Tony Day for under ten grand, or a Fred Harvey... More

I've been a fan of Medicine Man Gallery for many years, including both this one in Tucson, and Mark's newer gallery in Santa Fe. The Tucson gallery is like no other Native American gallery anywhere -- not only because of its size and enormous selection of both contemporary and vintage Native American and Western art, historic Native American pottery, exceptional... I visited this gallery to see the Maynard Dixon museum, which was worth the trip. If you enjoy western/southwestern art, please do yourself a favor and go spend a couple of hours here. You won't be able to take it all in. This was my first visit, but I will go back at least a couple of times a year.... More

When I visited Tucson for a couple of months this was my first stop of my trip. I did not expect much but ended up being quite surprised by the high quality of art they offered. The location was some what hard to find. I will be returning.

This is a wonderful store and museum that has a full spectrum of Western paintings, Navajo jewelry, blankets and pottery and special section that serves as a mini museum for one of the greats of Western art. The enterprise is presided over by the affable and knowledgable Mark Sublette. Mark answers all questions patiently and with enough charm to make... More

I just purchased three Navajo rugs by way of their website and am quite pleased with them and with the service provided by their staff. I'm sure a visit to their shop would be enjoyable for anyone who likes Southwestern items.

Medicine Man Gallery is more than just a gallery. This place is a mini musuem as well. I have visited this galery at it's prior location and was always amazed at the quality and diversity of items on display. You will see clothing, jewelry, paintings, sculptures and more. About two years ago the Tucson Museum of Art was having an... More

A local artist recommended that I visit Medicine Man. The owner is a sports medicine MD from New Mexico who has assembled a remarkable lineup of artists to fill his large gallery in this Northeast Tucson shopping center. I am not particularly inclined to seek out Southwestern style art per se, but Medicine Man has "cool" Southwestern art- a kind... More
