We came for lunch and sat on the patio. Good service and great food. Well almost great food. There is a lot of history in the hotel and you can read about Dillinger and how he was involved in the hotel. Looks like a great place for night time too. Looks like there is a band that plays and this... More

I have been going to Hotel Congress every week for several months for my weekly Meet Me at Maynard's event, and also at night with friends for food and drinks. This place remains one of the 2 hotels downtown Tucson, both historic. Pretty soon a third one will open its doors, but in a totally different category. Club Congress is... More

This place has some of the best small name bands in Tucson with nation wide acts. Whether the show is indoors our out crowds are young and often dancing, mostly outside. The indoor music room is small but intimate. Hot in summer expect to sweat if you try to dance.

Sat outside in the courtyard which was a nice setting in the evening air. This is a famous place for its Location and history. The steaks were expensive but disappointed as they were char grilled to an inch of their lives on the outside. We ordered rare and medium rare. The charcoal made the tasty horrible. It was dark outside... More

If your into Ginger & Moscow Mules this is THE place for you. Our group of eight loved them and couldn't stop talking about the fresh Ginger in the drink. Interesting building with historical ties. Apparently Dillenger was captured here.

I had the occasion to visit all of the Congress bars due to special events during a long stay in town. I was there about six times. One consistent experience, it is nearly impossible to get a beer or drink. Even if the bar is just moderately busy, the bartenders seem to not have the ability to watch the entire... More

We stayed a night at this hotel and came down for some drinks and dancing. There was a DJ, not many people on the dance floor, but we got the party started. The bartender was great, quick, and helpful. There was some salsa dancing going on outside on the patio area. Plenty of people in all the nooks and crannies... More

Went there Thursday evening with friends. It is still a pleasant place to sit and enjoy a drink and some munchies. Quiet atmosphere even though you are downtown.

We ate in The Cup in the Congress Hotel and then attended a concert at the Club Congress — a quaint and fun place in an active part of downtown Tucson. That night we enjoyed a superb gypsy jazz concert.
