The vendors are friendly and you can find everything from gifts to fresh food! Saturday's you can check out local artisans and their one-of-a-kind creations (and get a cookie or treat too) and Sunday's you can meet and greet food and creative vendors who have all kinds of goodies for you and your pets. And on Wednesdays you can find... More

When we are in Tucson on a weekend, we always stop at St. Philip’s Plaza in the morning looking at the food selections. As others have indicated, the food offering has become less and the number of craft booths increased. On this hot July Saturday morning, the Farmer’s Market was not so busy, but we were there for a single... More

Really a fun venue, lots of variety. Great pottery, vegetables, and jewellery. Also sits within a few feet of a couple of really good restaurants.

Mostly crafts, lotions, some nice handmade toys. Not much for fruits and vegetables. I've given up on looking for a Farmer's Market in AZ. They should change the title. Pretty to walk around though and vendors were friendly, but I came specifically for fresh produce. Left with none. :-(

The market is open until about 1PM until May and then it closes at noon. Great spot to go after church for coffee, a breakfast burrito, and to shop for fresh items for the week. Lots of items such as: homemade soap, organic coffee, fruits/vegetables, fresh eggs, juices, pastries, clothing, etc!!! Nice to shop local.

Went there on a Saturday and found many of the vendors were re-selling imported arts/craft merchandise. Apparently Sunday features local artisans. I found the prices were high considering so items were imported. The local artists on hand were reasonable considering they made each item. But overall it was a very pretty market. Live entertainment. Very pleasant place for strolling.

We were here for one thing, pretzels! We found "Old Pueblo Pretzels" the vendor, a guy from Reading, PA who bakes Philly soft pretzels better than what we remember from back home. He has a special called a "Hot Knot" stuffed with Hatch Green Chiles and cheddar cheese! And he also sells Mexican Cokes! Take it from us these are authentic... More

We decided to try the Farmers Market while visiting Tucson. We arrived early and spent time viewing all of the booths. While this is not a huge farmers market, there is a good variety of offers and the people were friendly and engaging. It is a good way to expose yourself to the local scene without much of the "tourist"... More

Farmers market was happening right in front of our hotel - Homewood Suites - so it was easy to stroll and shop with my 5 year old in tow.

We stopped by on a Saturday morning and were disappointed in the offerings. All I saw farmer-related were eggs, beef, cheese and one veggie stall. One man sat with a bunch of grapefruit, about the number that my neighbors are giving away.. There were plenty of "craft" type items, though, from wood creations to horseshoe trivets to jewelry. For those... More
