There is a lake and a forest of palm trees at the base of the mountains. Not too far from the urban area, but just far enough. Plenty of grass and picnic tables. Call for the days and hours the restored, historic ranch buildings are...More

I came here to check out an art exhibit in the original ranch house. Stayed to enjoy the pond surrounded by huge date palms and a lovely green space. Highlight of my trip!

Completely different from anything you will see in the area. The ranch house is a nice little guided tour. Pleasant grounds with palm trees and ponds from springs. Peaceful. Have a picnic. Close to town.
