Very scenic and exciting. Our tour guide Dan had lots of history to share with us about the area. We definitely had lots of fun. I'd say this is a must do. We stepped out of the normal-shopping, zoo, and business strips scene on this trip. We were pleasantly surprised.

Took the tour as part of a business trip. I have worked in Arizona and have been off the beaten path, but this was surprisingly entertaining and informative. I don't now if this was just our tour guide, but he has been with the company for fourteen (14) years and knew an amazing amount of information about the plant life... More

My wife and I were invited on a tour through the Sonoran desert with Traildust Adventure Tours by friends who live in Tucson. This was the most informative, interesting, amusing, and generally enjoyable three hours on a tour that we have ever experience. Kurt, the guide, was excellent. Knowledge, full of desert lore, but appropriately skeptical about some of stories... More

My wife and I wanted to see and learn more about the Sonoran Desert, and we were very glad we found Traildusters (recommended by the folks at Rincon Creek Ranch). We met our Jeep (a genuine CJ-8, modified for passengers) at the gate to the Rocking K Ranch, which borders Saguaro National Park southeast of Tucson. Our guide, Mike, was... More

Our family of four (2 adults and 2 boys, a teenager and a 7 yo) took a jeep tour into the Sonoran Desert on New Year's Eve. Our tour guide Bob was everything a good guide should be: knowledgeable, engaging with both the adults and the kids and full of stories that come only from years of experience. We learned... More

By and far, this tour is an excellent introduction to learning about the Sonoran Desert. Our guide, Kurt, a true to life cowboy, impressed us with his extensive knowledge of the nature, history, and wildlife of the area as we drove through the desert. He had so many stories, of the desert, and of Tucson in general. The pride was... More

Bob the tour guide picked us up at our hotel when promised. The tour was great. Bob gave us so much information I would never know otherwise. So many helpful things that could be made out of various desert plants. The actual trip in the desert with the jeep was a bit rocky which made it fun. Bob let us... More

Our group of 18 could not have enjoyed this excursion more! 3 jeeps with knowledgeable guides picked us up at the resort (on time) and took us on a beautiful tour of the desert near the resort. The tour was on private land and the guides were well-versed in the medicinal uses of the local plants, historical information, and information... More

We were very impressed with our guide,Kurt on the Ecology Tour. Prompt pickup and very knowledgeable about all aspects of the desert. One of the best ways someone without local knowledge of the Tucson area can learn. Really enjoyed the entire tour.

Our guide was so knowledgable; we learned about desert cacti, ecology, Native American tribes, plants, animals, minerals, and stones. The jeep rode itself was fun. Our tour guide Dan, was even nice enough to return my phone to me at my hotel after it had fallen out of my pocket. Great experience, great for kids, or anyone that wants to... More
