We opted to visit Saguaro National Park West because we had read here and other places (thanks, previous reviewers!) that the west park was better if limited on time. I don't know how it compares to the east, but we enjoyed it. Unfortunately we got...More

The saguaro cactus is an amazing plant and you see hundreds of them in this park. Nice short hikes with good interpretive boards. Watched the sun set over the desert and it was beautiful.

After visiting Saguaro a few years ago, we knew we had to return. It was absolutely incredible hiking most of the trails on the west side of the park. Every day we saw something new. We surprised a bobcat in the Bajada Wash Trail early...More
