The inside museum is pretty interesting and well maintained. We did not have a guide or a docent which I would have enjoyed but displays were very well done. It is worth stopping by. To think this fort is from the 1800’s is amazing. So...More

We enjoyed our time looking through the Fort Lowell Museum and one additional building. This mall museum is packed with historical information of the life of the soldiers and the families the lived there.

This small museum and grounds tell the interesting story the soldiers (and their families) who protected the Tucson area during the Apache Wars. Informative displays with helpful visual signs to tell the story of this time period in the Old West. The price is right...More

This small museum with its knowledgeable docents tells the story of Fort Lowell during the Apache Wars. Fort Lowell was at its current location from 1873-1891 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. It is definitely worth a visit.

Behind this museum is a wonderful lake and nature area! There is a large swimmi g pool & several sport fields. Good place to walk & picnic....and there are ducks in the lake🙆‍♂️

Just happened to step in by chance and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the exhibits. It is much,anger than what it seems from the outside and is definitely worth a visit.

Small but professionally managed by the Arizona Historical Society. It explains life on this late 1800's fort, now in a large park. Many of the ruins still exist. The knowledgeable docents encourage visitors to handle certain items, such as guns. Admission is free, donations are...More
