It had been some time since I visited TBG. So happy that I went to see the "new" entrance and exhibits/gardens. It is a peaceful, healing place right in the middle of town. Great relevant gardening info regarding native and adapted plants, herbs, cultural history...More

Wonderful place to visit. Beware of the high temperature. They have a recreation of Frida Kahlo and rivera including the gardens that are fascinating. Lots of signs to learn about the vegetation around. Do not miss it

Date night with my green thumb hubby. Interesting desert foliage and beautiful butterflies, when the season permits. Best to go in the morning or early afternoon. We went at 4ish when the sun dips just enough to blind you!

The gardens and special exhibits at the garden are always good. A hidden gem is the delighful restaurant featuring local cuisine and foods. The portions are smaller and rather sophisticated, not at all like typical museum food, but interesting and well prepared.

Thank you for your question. I'm so sorry, but we do not have any original paintings of Frida Kahlo. In Frida's short life she wasn't able to produce a large body of work, and most of her originals are in private collections... More
