The Arizona History Museum's focus is southern Arizona history from Spanish colonial through territorial eras. Exhibit topics include mining and transportation. The Arizona's Treasures exhibit features Geronimo's rifle, 18th-century Spanish silver artifacts, and hands-on exhibits for children.

Spacious and serene. Great displays. I liked the focused exhibits/rooms on Geronimo and Pancho Villa. We spent about 1.5 to 2 hours there.

This is an excellent museum of Arizona and Tucson history. It features many early photographs of early life, a mining exhibit and other artifacts. The museum is near the University campus and convenient to downtown.
