The renovation of the church continues and they are doing an excellent job. It is an active Catholic church and regularly has services. The frescoes inside the church are amazing, especially when you realize they were painted on the church walls and not on canvas....More

What a treat to revisit this mission, my fourth time here. I first saw it before the renovation and, while the ‘bones’ were palpable then in this active church, it clearly needed a great deal of loving attention if it was to survive well into...More

Been there before, but nice place to visit when in Tucson. We have missions in California, but not as nice as this one.

Prettier than many of the missions in Texas. This historic place, built around the 1750's or so, is really beautiful and a Tucson treasure. A must see for the Tucson Tourist.

Take one of the tours, they're extremely informative. The lovely lady at the gift shop was a wealth of information. Amazing restoration taking place and the results are jaw-dropping! Felt like I was transported to a very special spiritual place. Don't miss it!

I don't know about the handicap access. But if you are staying on the southwest side of Tucson, it is such a short drive south that it is probably worth the trip to check it out even if it isn't HC accessible. Just being... More
