DD was an amazing tour guide!

DD is an excellent guide; she knows everything and made historial data even more interesting! The Stanley day tour was pretty interesting and fun!

emperature of guest room could not be fixed, even by maintenance staff. Had a fan in my window to cool the room off in March, after all night, the temp went down one degree, could not sleep all night. Stayed in room 402 - terrible! Worst dinner of the weekend in your restaurant. Meatloaf burned and salmon dry. Good to... More

A group of 4 of us had been looking forward to checking out the Stanley hotel for quite some time. we booked our history tour and ghost tour in advance for the same day, hoping that we would get our history fix first and then move onto the ghost tour, getting the best of both worlds. I’ll break down each... More

We took a Friday night "night" tour and we were disappointed. What I thought was going to be a tour was a "story telling" from our guide and a visit to two rooms on the first floor first and then to a guest room on the 4th. I would have liked to have seen more of the hotel and know... More

On our weekend getaway to Estes, we decided to do the Stanley Haunted night tour. Our tour guide was Travis, and he was excellent! He shared personal experiences he has had while working there, as well as more famous encounters (Stephen King and Jim Carrey have both stayed in room 217). He told us about the history of the hotel... More

I very much enjoyed our entertaining tour guide, Leigh. We took the day tour and found the history interesting and the spooky stories entertaining. My teens enjoyed it too. The building is also very beautiful.

Our guide made this tour a lot of fun. Wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It was a bit spooky, especially if you believe in things that go bump in the night!

Great tour. Great stories. The night tour takes you to places the day tour does not. The tour says it's 90 minutes, but it was more like 2 hours.

We decided to go at night and for the last tour of the day. The history covered in the tour was awesome. I'm still a skeptic or the tour would have been a 5

My daughter and I booked the daytime tour. The tour was short but provided a lot of interesting information. The hotel and grounds are beautiful. If I had to do it again I would book far enough in advance to get to stay in room 114 for a least one night. No we didn't see any ghost of have any... More
