We took the 2.5 hour ride with Trent this morning. He was so kind and patient with us. We loved hearing about life on the ranch and about our surroundings. We even saw 2 of the biggest elk he had ever seen. We had an awesome ride and would do it again!!

Money well spent! This is run by the YMCA of the Rockies and is clean, safe and fun! Advice: wear the helmets that they provide free of charge. Lots of opportunities to fall off if things don't go right. This is a safe ride but there are uphill, downhill, in the trees, across the water and weaving among the deer... More

The stable is a concession at the YMCA facility. We scheduled an early morning ride in the hopes of seeing wildlife early in the day. We took the two-hour Moraine Park ride and saw lots of elk. It was a nice ride, very scenic. Our Trail guide shared lots of interesting information and history about the park. There were only... More

Our family selected the two-hour Moraine Park tour and the amount of time was perfect. One hour would have been too short, and three hours much too long. I'm sure the horses could walk the trail on their own even if the riders were blindfolded - but that's half the fun. Some of the trails were very steep, trotting did... More

Good ride! Beautiful scenery on the one hour Glacier Basin ride. Very good price. Not too technical for a beginner. Perfect for me and my seven year old!

Our party of 5 went for a 2 hour Moraine Park ride on August 1. I have been riding horses at the YMCA stables since 1972. It is always top on my list of things I have to do while in Estes Park. I always appreciate the time they take to ask questions in order to pair riders with the... More

What a fun afternoon! Our two hour moraine ride was excellent. It was my first time riding and they matched me up with Otis, a beautiful gentle horse. The experience was exactly as advertised on the Jackson Stables web site. The scenery and the weather were spectacular, and the college aged "wranglers" (guides) did a great job and made you... Our family of five (children ages 8, 12, & 15) greatly enjoyed our 3 hr ride in Beaver Meadows. Our horses were well behaved, showed a bit of their individual personalities, and were fun to get to know. The scenery was breathtaking, especially when we came to a small secluded area full of elk (many many babies nestled down with... More
