Great fun

I took my 3 girls there last July 2016 and we had a wonderful time. The water was a little chili for me but didnt phase them. Beautiful! Staff was wonderful.

This is a great spot to get away from all the crowds. You can just hang out, or rent a boat to take around the lake. I think they have fishing licenses available also. Beautiful on a sunny day.

If you have a boat, the marina is quite pleasant. However, what drew us to the area was the walking and bicycle path around the lake. We were here in April and they were a few people around. It Is probably much busier during the summer. However, the walk itself is very nice, with snow capped mountains in the distance.

I thought my dogs might be hesitant on a boat. They LOVED IT! It's not a huge lake, but was fun to troll around for an hour. The pontoon boats provided scenic views. The staff were friendly and great. A+ activity for dogs! Also great walk around the lake.

It is a pretty lake but not in the fall. For some reason they drain it - I heard to clean it but it doesn't need to stay drained all winter. It was sort of sad - but I believe that when it is full that it is very pretty.

Great photo opportunities!! Mountain background is GORGEOUS. We ended up stopping here on the way from Allenspark to Estes Park to visit RMNP. While we didn't boat, we did stop for some spectacular views and photos. This would be such a great place for a picnic or a summer boat ride!! Beautifully peaceful.

We were pleasantly surprised that there were so many things to do and the rentals that were available. The walking path is beautiful and we reallly enjoyed it.

Were able to get our non-resident fishing licenses here. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice place for fishing; unfortunately we didn't catch anything. But it was fun.

Just under 4 miles, this is a fantastic family ride. Scenic with several small parks and water front stops, this is a great afternoon adventure. You can rent bikes at the Marina or across the street. During, the fall months you can also check out the elk that gather at the golf course an hour before dusk.
