Was recommended to visit after visiting the lighthouse. Plan on being there for sometime. There is a lot of things to see and read. Very cool place

This museum was set up nicely, leading you through different aspects of daily life in the 1800's. It is more of a display of antique artifacts than a formal museum, but it was fun to visit, nonetheless. And the light from the lighthouse, you just...More

For a small building there is a tremendous amount of Del Norte history within the walls. Very friendly & knowledgeable people that work there. A must see on visiting Del Norte County.

The tripadvisor site for this attraction shows it is open 7 days from 8am to 8pm. Way wrong. It is closed on Sundays when most tourists are visiting Crescent City for one reason or another. I was excited to see some Brother Jon stuff but...More

$3.00 donation was worth every cent and mostly even more. Lots of local history, state history and ties to national history. Never seen that much WWI materials preserved as they had. The Indian baskets were outstanding. Huge display cases on the 2nd floor. Needed more...More

There are many pictures of crescent from past to present and even a photo of when there were two lighthouses on the shore, now there is just one.
