The recent high surf and storms had caused a serious subsidence of the cliff sides on the last mile or so on the southern edge of the beach. If you are a geologist this is made for you-but it did make walking the full length difficult as the surf was still very high and I had to walk around the... More

This beach is what most visitors expect. In my experience, it is never warm enough to swim-some do. The view of the hills and out to sea is beautiful. The sand is level and it is an easy walk. It is an all together pleasant beach to visit/walk and perhaps picnic.

Enjoyed walking the beach (low tide). It is a clean beach. Few seashells can be found. But all in all it was great fun to see the ocean.

It's a short walk on the beach but definitely worth your time for a short walk. It was fun looking for agates, I stopped a local person and asked for his help finding them.

If you hike or drive south a little ways you can hike down to Endert's Beach and experience some fantastic tidal pools. We had a great time playing in the waves and watching the animals.

Very walkable with beautiful park along harbor. I had hoped to learn more about past Tsunami events and how prevention is being engineered. Visitor's Center was closed and we looked for the walking tour brochures. Finally found a kiosk with interesting information, but by then it was getting dark and buggy. Apparently there is a walking tour through park with... More
