This lighthouse can only be accessed at low-tide. You will need to check the tide schedule to know when you can visit, but if you have the chance it provided a unique window to the past and beautiful view.

This is a wonderful lighthouse, which you can walk across to during low tide. And there are great views of the Pacific Ocean from everywhere! It was built in 1856.

It was low tide so we were able to cross to the lighthouse. It was closed for the season but was a cool place to check out.

This lighthouse has some good great features and during some portions of the year you can actually tour the inside. The cool part is that you can't get to it at high tide. You have to be sure to go during low to mid tide...More

Stopped by to see the tide pools but also enjoyed the short hike to the lighthouse. We saw crabs and hermit crabs. Gorgeous vistas!

Battery Point is one of my favourite lighthouses... and since I live on the Oregon coast, I'm around a lot of lighthouses! This one is unique since you have to wait for low tide to cross the causeway to get there. They do give tours...More

We found out when the low tide was and crossed the rocks to get to the lighthouse. The current "keeper" gave us a tour and we even got to go up into the tower. It is a lovely house and so full of character. The...More

The best way to get to Battery Point Lighthouse is during low tide. If you were looking to go to tour the Lighthouse, it would be during the summer time. You could call and ask the Museum on H street. To get more information.

In the off months it is only weekends and tide permitting. Peak seasons are 7 days a week put still tide permitting.
