The city was beautiful, but not vibrant. We enjoyed our tour of the history center. It is somewhat small, but for $3 a person we felt they did a very nice job conveying the local history. The drive there Was nice as were the people...More

Start your tour with the movie at the visitors center to gain a better perspective of what you will see. Many great displays and dioramas set the tone. The trail is easy and enyoable.

Enjoyed driving around Pipestone's historic district. Especially enjoyed their City Hall -- red brick -- think it might be pipestone.

They just don't make buildings like this any more. It's great to see that they are being preserved and not torn down. Check out the Ghost Walk

They just don't make buildings like this anymore. Check out the gargoyles they are fun to see. Don't forget to stop into the Calumet for something to eat or drink after your tour.
