I know we didn't allot enough time to thoroughly appreciate this fascinating museum, but what we did get to see was wonderful! The history of 'ballooning' is carefully developed, with lots of information & pictures - from first flight to military uses, weather balloons, etc....More

The balloon museum was excellent, a wonderful collection of real life artifacts. Albuquerque is the home of a lot of ballooning history and the people that made it happen. Sid Cutter, founder of the International Balloon Fiesta helped put NM on the map!

I've been wanting to go on a hot air balloon ride, and wanted to learn a little bit about the experience. There's so much to learn at this museum. Me and my husband really enjoyed the visit and we recommend it to anybody.

We enjoyed the very informative exhibits on the history of hot air and gas ballooning (and the hybrids, which we did not know about) and recent record-setting events in ballooning. Much to see and experience in this attractive museum.

Balloon Glow was gorgeous---great photo ops. Lots of people. The morning we went to Ascension, it was too windy, so balloons didn't go up, but we still had a great time and will be going back next year.,

Lots of info about not only the hot air balloons that fly from the neighboring field, but also displays related to gas balloons and other aircraft, including ultra-high altitude flights
