Featur4es flowers that grow in NM as well as native plants. This is a very attractive place, and a good place to take youngsters who enjoy nature.

Only visited the gardens, which were nice but not outstanding. While visiting in October, I missed the peak of the season - but grounds were well maintained, well organized and offered a peaceful morning walk. Nice to see school children taking advantage of lawn with special programs and activities.

I go here at least a couple of times/year. It is a haven for a stressed soul. I love to walk it all. Even the stinky little goats on the Heritage Farm gets my attention. The new Bugarium is an awesome addition to it all. So is the Japanese garden. Just an amazing place to wander. Best time of the year... More

This is one of my favorite places to visit in Albuquerque. There are always photo opportunities and one is always left with a sense of peace. The butterfly pavilion is spectacular. There are many reasons why this place was named 5th in the nation by the Travel Channel. It is a true gem.

Great place to visit. Lots of local plants, trees and flowers that are well presented so you can finger out what they are.

The layout and care that is taken here is breathtaking. Here we were in October and many plants were still in bloom. The children's garden should not be missed. It is like no other. The aquarium which is within the same confines is also a spectacular place to visit. Unfortunately the regular cafe was closed for renovation and the only... More

I don't even know where to start! The Bugarium? Butterfly Pavilion? Magic Castle/maze/play area? The flora? The duck pond? This is such a great spot for a lover's walk, lunch by the pond, or some good ol' fashioned marveling. Here's the breakdown: *Bugarium: Holy hairy creatures Batman, we touched a tarantula!!!! *shudder* There are so many creatures to see here,... More

The landscape is beautiful, especially the Japanese Garden. There is a pond and trails and koi fish and frogs. It was a beautiful cool day with a breeze. October was a good month to go

If you're looking for a place to spend an afternoon or morning this is a not to miss site! There is a surprising amount of diverse city end echo systems and what one would think would be a difficult environment to produce them. However it is well tended and it changes with the seasons so there's always something new to... More
