This is in the northeast part of ABQ off of Tramway. It is very nice but nothing to view as a true destination. Just a small park in a nice area.

The trails in Elena Gallegos range from easy to moderate. There are biking trails. And, most importantly, the backdrop of the Sandia Mountains is at its glorious best. My dogs love Elena Gallegos!

Yes, it gets very windy in March/April and can be a bit chilly, but still lovely for a hike or visit. The homes are awesome and the landscape just breathtaking. Enjoy and be safe.
